We expect all suppliers to uphold the same standards and to ensure that their own supply chains are free from modern slavery.
Risk Assessment and Risk Management
We recognise that certain sectors and geographic regions may present a higher risk of modern slavery and human trafficking.
To assess and manage these risks, we:
- Conduct periodic risk assessments of our supply chain
- Identify high-risk categories based on geography, sector, and workforce profile
- Apply enhanced due diligence where heightened risks are identified
- Require corrective action plans where non-compliance is identified
- Reserve the right to terminate supplier relationships where serious breaches occur
Within our own business operations, we mitigate risk through robust recruitment practices, verification of right-to-work documentation, and fair employment procedures.
Measuring Effectiveness
We assess the effectiveness of our anti-slavery measures through performance indicators and monitoring activities, which may include:
- Completion rates of supplier due diligence checks (acceptance to terms and conditions)
- Incidents reported through whistleblowing channels
- Staff training completion rates
We review these indicators periodically to ensure continuous improvement in our approach.
