BRIEF
Celebrate the people who spread peace in all walks of life.
An annual event held in Abu Dhabi, the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity aims to highlight the importance of global cooperation by celebrating the people who spread peace in all walks of life.
For the fourth year we were asked to design, create and deliver the 2024 ceremony, bringing communities together from across the globe.
APPROACH
Using light, performance and film to honour winners and share hope globally.
We designed an environment that was understated and in keeping with the Founder’s Memorial site.
Performances by Tokio Myers, graphics and films aligned with the narrative and honoured the winners’ achievements.
EXPERIENCE
The Founder’s Memorial provided a harmonious backdrop to the ceremony with a reception that welcomed 150 guests.
An atmosphere that encouraged reflection and conversation was created by lighting and mirrors with inspirational quotes, enhancing the “Be the Light” theme.
The theme of “Be the Light” was woven throughout the event as a reminder that hope is important amid conflict.
The winners’ powerful stories told through film, performances by Tokio Myers and a children’s choir highlighted the winners’ profound impact.
